Terms of Service — Garage Connect

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Garage Connect, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What Garage Connect Is (and Is Not)

Garage Connect is a referral and marketplace platform that helps customers discover, contact, and request quotes from independent local automotive service providers (mechanics, detailers, body / paint shops, and roadside / towing operators). Every provider listed on Garage Connect is an independent business, not an employee, agent, partner, subcontractor, or franchisee of Garage Connect.

Garage Connect does not perform, supervise, inspect, dispatch, schedule, price, warrant, or otherwise participate in the automotive services performed by any listed provider. Any contract for work is entered into directly between the customer and the provider.

3. No Endorsement or Vetting Guarantee

While Garage Connect may collect basic information from providers (such as business name, location, and self-reported certifications), we do not independently verify licensing, insurance, workmanship, background checks, or the accuracy of any provider claim unless expressly stated. Listings are not endorsements. Customers are responsible for evaluating any provider they choose to engage — including confirming licensing, insurance, pricing, warranties, and references — before authorizing work.

4. Provider Work — Not Our Responsibility

Garage Connect is not liable for the quality, safety, timeliness, legality, pricing, warranty, or outcome of any repair, tow, detail, body work, roadside assistance, diagnosis, estimate, or other service performed or offered by any provider listed on or contacted through the platform. This includes, without limitation: damage to vehicles or property, personal injury, delays, no-shows, faulty parts, misdiagnosis, unauthorized charges, overbilling, disputes over scope of work, and any dissatisfaction with the completed service. Any dispute arising from work performed must be resolved directly between the customer and the provider.

5. Garage Listings & Subscriptions

Garages may subscribe to listing tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold). Subscription fees are billed via Stripe. You may cancel anytime from your garage portal; access continues through the end of the paid period. Garage Connect reserves the right to suspend, hide, or remove any listing at its sole discretion — including in cases of suspected fraud, abusive conduct, unsafe work reports, or repeated no-shows.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the service, submit false service requests, impersonate others, harass providers or customers, or attempt to disrupt the platform.

7. Disclaimers

Garage Connect is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of listings, availability of any provider, or outcomes of any service performed by a third party. All implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Garage Connect (and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or property, arising from or related to your use of the platform or any interaction with a listed provider. In no event shall Garage Connect's total aggregate liability to any customer exceed the greater of (a) US $100 or (b) the amount that customer paid Garage Connect (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Garage Connect harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your interaction with any provider or customer, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
